The course covers imaging of the head, chest and abdomen/pelvis in 5 modules. Each module is composed of a didactic lecture followed by an interactive case review session and quiz across X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT and MRI to consolidate fundamental principles of imaging interpretation.
Laptops
Lightbox Radiology Education courses include a variety of interactive sessions to cement the learning objectives. Our materials are both Mac and PC compatible and it is recommended that you bring your own laptop to your course or arrange to share a laptop with a friend during the interactive sessions.

Module 3: Imaging of the Chest – X-Ray, Ultrasound, & CT (Part 2): Airways, Lungs & Pleura: Technique, Review of acute pathology including clinical aspects, imaging findings, pitfalls and complications.
Module 4: Imaging of the Abdomen/Pelvis – X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT & MRI (Part 1): Solid Viscera: Technique, Review of acute pathology including clinical aspects, imaging findings, pitfalls and complications.

Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists: 10.5 CPD hours may be claimed for attendance at the Critical Care Imaging Interpretation Course to be held 14-15 May 2022; and 5 CPD hours for pre-course work; 10 CPD hours may be claimed for attendance at the Critical Care Imaging Interpretation Course to be held in Fiji 18-22 July 2022; and 5 CPD hours for pre-course work.
Delegate’s rights and obligations:
By registering, you warrant your details as provided are true and correct.
You must comply with any particular conditions, rules, regulations or usage requirements of the Venue or of Lightbox Radiology Education in connection with an Event.
You are expected to behave in a professional and appropriate manner at all Events.
You must also comply with all verbal and written directions given by Lightbox Radiology Education or the Venue whilst at, entering, or departing the Venue (including without limitation in respect of an acceptable noise level emanating from the Event space).
Lightbox Radiology Education reserves the right, without any liability, to refuse admission to, or to eject you from an Event, in its absolute discretion, including (without limitation), for failure to comply with these Delegate Conditions or if in the opinion of Lightbox Radiology Education, you represent a health or security risk, nuisance or annoyance to the running of an Event.
Photography and the recording or transmitting of audio or visual material, data or information is prohibited at an Event without Lightbox Radiology Education’s prior written consent.
Payment Terms, cancellations, transfers, refunds, credits
In-Person Education Events:
Payment for in-person education events is due at the time of registration.
Lightbox Radiology Education reserves the right to decline any registration application, if so, Lightbox Radiology Education will refund (or not process) any monies then paid.
The Course fee does not include any transport, transfers or accommodation expenses.
Lightbox Radiology Education reserves the right and has sole discretion for any reason and at any time to:
Change the format, participants, content, location and timing or any other aspect of an Event;
Postpone Events in full or any part of those Events; and/or
Cancel an Event in full or any part.
Refunds
Applications for a course refund must be made 14 days PRIOR to your course commencement date.
All requests for refunds for any course (including extenuating circumstances) must be by a formal request in writing to admin@lightboxradiology.com.
An administration fee of $150 AUD applies for all refunds.
If the application for a refund is made within 14 days to your scheduled course commencement date, all funds will be forfeited.
Alternatively, you can transfer your enrolment to another participant. Please see Course Transfer information.
Any funds retained by Lightbox Radiology Education when issuing a refund are a genuine pre-estimate of reasonable costs that Lightbox Radiology Education will have incurred at the time of the cancellation.

If you wish to claim a refund under extenuating circumstances and within 14 days of the course commencement date, you must submit a refund request in writing to Lightbox Radiology Education prior to the Event start date and consideration will be given by Lightbox Radiology Education for a partial refund. Payment of a refund in these circumstances is at Lightbox Radiology Education’s sole and absolute discretion.
Refunds will not be granted if you fail to attend an Event, are refused admission, or ejected from an Event for failure to comply with these terms and conditions or if in the opinion of Lightbox Radiology Education, you represent a health or security risk, nuisance or annoyance to the running of an Event.
Course transfers
Applications for a course transfer must be made 14 days PRIOR to your course commencement date.
A fee of $50 AUD applies to all course transfers.
Course transfers can be made:
from one Lightbox course instance to another
from a face to face course instance to an online course. (You will be required to either pay or will be refunded the difference in registration pricing, in addition to the course transfer fee).
from one participant to another

Course credits are valid for 12 months from the date a credit is granted.
You must ensure you enrol and attend a Lightbox course held within 12 months of your credit being granted.

Course credits are not transferable to other attendees and cannot be refunded once granted.
Online Radiology Education Courses:
Payment for online courses is required before access to the course materials is granted.
No refunds will be provided once access to the course has been granted.
Visa Applications:
If your attendance at one of our face-to-face education events is contingent on you receiving a travel visa:
A $50 administration fee will be charged should you require evidence (such as a letter of invitation) from Lightbox Radiology Education to support your application.
In the event your visa application is not successful a further $100 administration fee will be charged to process a course refund provided the refund is requested 14 days PRIOR to the commencement of the course date.
