This course is designed to give participants an overview of the techniques and interpretation for general diagnostic ultrasound.

This course has pre-course online lectures to complete followed by a 1 day hands-on workshop with live models. It is designed to give participants an overview of the techniques and interpretation for general diagnostic ultrasound. Limited places available and 1:4 hands-on training.  Covering Ultrasound of the Chest, Neck, Liver & Biliary Tree, Spleen & Pancreas, Kidneys, Bladder & Prostate and Female Pelvis.

Module 2 - Ultrasound of the Chest - pneumothorax & pleural effusion, Pleurocentesis

Module 3 - Ultrasound of the Neck - Thyroid & Salivary glands, Lymph nodes, Ultrasound guided FNA

Module 4 - Ultrasound of the Liver & Biliary Tree

Module 5 - Ultrasound of the Spleen & Pancreas 

Module 6 - Ultrasound of the Kidneys, Bladder & Prostate

Module 7 - Ultrasound of the Female Pelvis, 1st trimester obstetrics  

Hands On Workshop:

Module 1 - Knobology & system functionality

Module 2 - Ultrasound of the Chest

Module 3 - Ultrasound of the Neck

Module 4 - Ultrasound of the Abdomen

Module 5 - Ultrasound KUB and prostate

Module 6 - Ultrasound of the Female Pelvis

Module 7 - Ultrasound guided FNA and Ultrasound guided biopsy, Ultrasound guided venous access.

Module 8 - Ultrasound guided pleurocentesis.

Online Courses

Lightbox Radiology Education does not offer refunds, transfers or credits for our online courses.

Radiology Courses

If you have registered and paid for a course that you can no longer attend, please select a form to complete then email to admin@lightboxradiology.com at least 2 weeks before your course commencement date. (Please note: we do not offer credits/transfers or refunds on our custom courses)

Transfers / Credits
Applications for a course transfer/credit must be made at least 2 weeks before your course commencement date. A fee of $50 applies to all course transfers/credits. Please fill out our Transfer/Credit form and forward to admin@lightboxradiology.com.  If the application for a transfer/credit is made within 2 weeks to your course, all funds will be forfeited or you must find another attendee to take your place.

Course credits are valid for 12 months from the original payment date. You must ensure you enroll and attend this course held within that 12 month period. All courses are subject to availability. Course credits are not transferable to other attendees & cannot be refunded.

Refunds
Applications for a course refund must be made at least 2 weeks before your course commencement date. A fee of $150 applies for all refunds. Please complete our Refund Form and forward to admin@lightboxradiology.com.  If the application for a refund is made within 2 weeks to your course, all funds will be forfeited or you must find another attendee to take your place.

Course Cancellation
In the unlikely event a course is cancelled due to exceptional circumstances, Lightbox Radiology Education will provide (where possible) alternative dates for the course; a credit note towards future courses or a full refund.

Lightbox Radiology Education will not be liable for any additional costs, above the course fee, incurred due to a course cancellation.
